February 2010 Books

Read in February:

From last post:
7. Life List, Olivia Gentile
8. Half Broke Horses, Jeannette Walls *

9. The Zen of Sushi, Trevor Corson * (really fascinating and absorbing read, even if you do not eat sushi. If you’re interested in food politics a la Michael Pollan but tired of hearing the same thing over and over, try this book.)
10. Far Arden, Kevin Cannon (GN)
11. Come Back, Como, Steve Winn
12. Shanghai Girls, Lisa See * (excellent, as most of See’s books are, though a bit abrupt near the end)
13. A Dragonfly in Amber, Diana Gabaldon*

Currently reading:
Quest for a Maid, Frances Mary Hendry (YA)
Settled in the Wild: Notes from the Edge of Town, Susan Hand Shetterly
Voyager, Diana Gabaldon

Not too bad for a short month.
