Breakfast formula these days: 2 hardboiled eggs + veggies in some form + 1 orange (and coffee)
A short list of things I am loving/enjoying right now:
1-If you don’t mind hipster romanticism, Kinfolk magazine is worth a read. My favorite piece is the one about Sunday roasts. It makes me want to plan out Sunday suppers again.
2-The project theme today is a story, or rather, stories.
Some of my favorites:
This one about Santa.
And this one about a big overstuffed chair.
Do you have a story? I’d love to hear it in the comments, if you are inclined to do so.
3- I love hearing stories, but I am not very good at telling them (I am better at telling them via photographs). But here is a good story involving a local brunch favorite.
The waiter is about to walk past a table, his hands full of plates to be delivered. A woman at the table looks at the plates curiously, asking the waiter what one of them is. It’s a rather sweet-looking confection, and the waiter grins mischievously and moves the plate just out of her reach as she moves her head further for a closer look. She’s about to get frustrated, when he gallantly makes a sudden move of puting the plate in front of her.
“You can have that, ma’am.”
And he moves on.
